cancellation policy / booking conditions:

payment terms: With the booking 50% of the total amount is due immediately, the remaining 50% 4 weeks before arrival. The reservation will be confirmed only after the deposit of 50%. If the booking is made directly through our booking portal (https://booking.roomraccoon.co.za/ocean12-guesthouse/en/).

The deposited credit card will be charged with 50% of the total amount at the time of booking. If the debit is not possible due to an invalid credit card or insufficient funds, the booking or reservation will be expired. In case of invoicing from Germany the deposit will be transferred in Euro to a German bank account, otherwise it will be charged in South African Rand.

In case of no-show by COVID or other reasons: Please take out your own travel cancellation insurance. We are a small guesthouse and employ our staff and their families all year round and also without season. Therefore, we cannot refund your deposit in case of no-show by COVID or other circumstances.
